First GP bike and fairly easy to realize that this is the second modelling project...a lot of errors made because I thaught I was the number one modeller in the world. Easy does it, was't there this time I can say. Broke the pins for the handle bar assembly. Glued the spark plugs in wrong angle, and so on. Buyed a black board and wrote "Easy does it" a hundred times.

Couldn't find TS colors for the body parts so I was left with brush painting acrylics. X-3 worked well on the blue areas and I didn't leave that much brush strokes in that one. More of that stuff was left in the orange areas but I'm fairly pleased anyway.

Ooopsy Daisy...my first GP project with team markings turned out to be a lot more complicated than I had realized. No Micro products made it hard to conform the decals to irregular areas. (It did't help that I too late found out that "tepid" water ment warm...) I ruined whole lower cowling decal for the right side and was left with 6-8 weeks of shipping from Japan because I didn't let the acrylics cure properly. Knowing what i know now I would have painted the white areas of the rear cowling instead of using the decals. The result is not good.

Those decals need some close attention to turn out good. As I didn't have spray cans or an air brush this isn't a too good looking kit. Perhaps I strip it and redo it sometime..
